Cosmik Debris Orchestra & Touch of CREAM

On December 21st, The Cosmik Debris Orchestra celebrates the music of Frank Zappa and Touch Of CREAM performs the music of Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Jack Bruce at the Westcott Theater in Syracuse.

The desire to assemble a group of musicians to perform the music of Frank Zappa was visualized and achieved by Steve Buzinski (The Fat Bobs). His goal was to unite an ensemble of local musicians to commemorate the music of Frank Zappa. Steve realized his aspiration, which resulted in The Cosmik Debris Orchestra.

Steve is a life-long drummer and says he “never had the opportunity to step-out and front a band.” Not to go unnoticed, he organized a small orchestra for this ambitious endeavor. The material selected spans three decades of Frank Zappa musical history. That is all he will say about tunes for the show “so everyone will be surprised.”

Touch Of CREAM, a 3-piece power trio in the tradition of the legendary band CREAM, is composed of Scott Fleming on guitar and vocals, Dave Pallas on drums and vocals, and Billy Carman on bass and vocals.

Scott is a formidable vocalist and lead guitarist in the legendary style of Eric Clapton. He graced many stages as an opener for national A-list talent. Scott frequently performed at the Dinosaur BBQ, at Vernon Downs Casino, at the World Series of Bocce, and many fundraising events.

Dave is a driving force in this band. His vast stage experience and extremely high-energy performance places him among the top drummers in the area, performing at Vernon Downs and Turning Stone Casinos. Dave frequently performs with Scott and Billy in other bands and is currently drumming for the Moss Back Mule Band.

Billy worked with the supergroup BOSTON and performed with original members Barry Goudreau and Sib Hashian. Billy also recorded and toured with Fran Cosmo, former BOSTON lead singer. Billy shared countless concert stages with legendary bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, BB King, Styx, Reo Speedwagon, Foghat, The Outlaws, Edgar Winter Group, Rick Derringer, Greg Allman, and many more.

Together, they bring the music of CREAM to life in an extraordinary tribute to perhaps one of the most influential supergroups in rock and roll history.
