Hailing from Boston, MA, Professor Caffeine & the Insecurities is an emo, pop, progressive, math rock band who are determined to blur the lines between genres. With everything from beautiful harmonies and chaotic guitar parts to epic and anthemic vocals and masterfully orchestrated songs, they’re well on their way.

About Slim & The Heavy Set

Slim and the Heavy Set, born from the open mic scene at Soundcheck Studios, began as a three piece interpreting Dylan and the Grateful Dead. Playing south shore bars, the band quickly gained a local following and reputation for deep improvisational jams and aggressive lead guitar. Recently adding keys and percussion, the band is now a freight train rolling heavy with a thick rhythm section under Slim’s cutting guitar licks. The band still covers the Dead and Dylan with a twist, but have also added originals to their set that represent the eclectic tastes of the band.
