If you’re looking for a spine tingling version from some of Edgar Allan Poe’s best-known thrillers, this isn’t it. But it’s not the actors’ fault! After finding out the whole cast for the evening performance of Poe has been unfortunately detained, three crew hands are forced to build a show based on what little they know about Poe… and hilarity ensues!

Join us for A Poor Pauper’s Poe, the retelling of Poe’s stories and other fun haunts, filled with laughs, screams, and terrifyingly real audience participation! It’s Poe like you never would’ve imagined it, in a brand-new show this October 2024.

The production team and Gilmer Arts have decided to drop the first weekend of the play to give people time to get a little more healing after the storm that recently passed through and caused so much damage north and east of us. Showtimes will be Oct. 25, 26, and 27 only. Come laugh with us the weekend before Halloween.
