Alex Sophia
Alex Sophia casts spells through song. Living somewhere between indie pop and rock, her music blends catchy melodies with fresh yet nostalgic production. Born in DC and based in NYC, she writes about the joys and heartbreak of navigating your twenties in a big city.
Cougar Beatrice
Delivering thick instrumentation and raw tones, Cougar Beatrice is a rock band with roots in 2000s alt-rock, blues, pop, and vintage rock. Their newest album, Colors of I, includes a storyline following the beginning of quarantine and converging personal tragedies, merged with commentary on the failings of modern-day America and both historical and future plagues to society, ranging from religiously and racially motivated violence to the threat of technological control over free will. Throughout the album, they wrestle with overcoming apathy, first through experiencing emotional pain and eventually journeying to acceptance and finding joy and escape in creating and performing music.
Jenna Earhart
Jenna is a poetic singer-songwriter and powerhouse vocalist who is known for her intimate acoustic performances. Based in her home state of Virginia, she’s influenced by the textures and harmonic complexity of the jazz, R&B and folk music she grew up with, and she draws inspiration from artists like Ryan Beatty, Adrianne Lenker, and Eloise. Treating her writing as an opportunity to connect our expansive human experience to the world around us, Jenna delivers introspective lyrics with soulful vocals, all carried by contemplative harmonies on her acoustic guitar, telling the hard truths that come with being human and writing love letters to the tiny beauties of everyday life.
