ARAUJIA

For Fans of: Deftones, Loathe, & Fleshwater

ARAUJIA: The Cruel Moth Vine (a non-carnivorous plant that traps insects). ARAUJIA is a DC based alternative rock band that merges alternative metal and shoegaze. Echoing the experimental instrumentals of Deftones, the surreal lyricism of The Cure, and the ambiance of Slowdive, ARAUJIA’s music reflects the sublime yet frightening experience of the unconscious minds.

Muhnday

FFO: Have Heart, HUM, Nothing, Title Fight

Muhnday is a Washington, D.C. based heavy emogaze band blending the weight of post-hardcore with the haze of shoegaze. Balancing melody and abrasion, the band shifts between towering walls of distortion and vulnerable, intimate moments — capturing themes of identity, anxiety, self-destruction, and self-discovery. For fans of loud/soft dynamics, cathartic hooks, and music that feels like it’s about to fall apart — but never does.

trichor

FFO: Teethe, TAGABOW, Knifeplay

Based from central & shore points of New Jersey, trichor is a four-piece slowcore band developed from the local scene. Taking influences from They Are Gutting A Body Of Water's ambient and overdriven melodies & feeble little horse's interesting compositions, trichor shapes their sound uniquely and indelibly. Vocals are magnetized to delayed and distorted instrumentals creating dream-like songs best to listen to when it rains.
