The Gilman Project

The Gilman Project is an indie-folk project fronted by three rising singer-songwriters in the bay area: folk-pop troubadour Andrew St James, indie-folk pianist Caitiln Cobb-Vialet, and powerhouse vocalist Yunoka Berry, who all met through Bay Area producers Jim Greer and Nathan Hannah who perform and helm production duties for the album. In 2022, as the pandemic was slowly ending, these musicians came together through a series of collaborations to make music under the name Gilman Project. They wrote a variety of songs, and held one concert at the UC Theater supporting Courtney Barnett, raising 250,000.00 for the Energy Foundation. In 2026 they released an album called World's On Fire as a response to the divided political climate and to call attention to the environment, and partnered up with Planet Reimagined, a foundation created by by pop star Adam Met of the band AJR.
