Take a ride down the Blues Highway to experience the 14th Annual Cross Rivers Blues and Roots Festival at Scout Hall on March 28. The 2026 edition continues the music lover's tradition with a lineup featuring:

Devin C. Williams

Devin C. Williams is a passionate musician and songwriter whose love for Delta Blues has earned him a respected place in today’s music scene. Known for his skill on the resonator guitar and his dynamic percussion style, Devin creates music that honors the roots of the blues while bringing his own unique voice to the genre.

Deeply inspired by legends like Son House, Charlie Patton, and Robert Johnson, Devin blends powerful storytelling and emotion into every song. His lyrics reflect the soul of the blues, connecting with listeners on a personal and meaningful level.

Ivas John Band

Ivas John is a musician’s musician. A throwback and an innovator. A musician with local roots and worldly chops. A purist who can play the dirtiest blues. From Chicago to St. Louis, to the woods of Southern Illinois and the banks of the Mississippi, his style of effortless authenticity and appetite for variety have earned him much praise and acceptance from fellow musicians, casual bar patrons, and scrutinizing critics alike.

Miss Jubilee

Miss Jubilee (aka Valerie Kirchhoff) is a St. Louis bandleader and vocalist specializing in 1920s and 30s blues, jazz and hokum. Kirchhoff is inspired by the female blues singers of old and the rich musical heritage of St. Louis. Accompanied by pianist Ethan Leinwand, mulit-instrumentalist T. J. Müller, and other world class musicians from throughout the country, Miss Jubilee performs with joy, precision, and an infectious energy. They prove that this wonderful old music isn’t ready for the museum quite yet!

Bruce Zimmerman & The Water Street Band

Called “the legend,” the “elder statesman of the blues,” and “a guitar player’s guitar player” by the media, Bruce has much to offer his listeners, including the chance to hear blues played by someone who has actually chopped cotton. A half century of musical experience makes him a virtual musical encyclopedia, at home in a variety of genres. Years on the road find full expression in compelling original compositions that have made him a truly unique singer/songwriter. This accomplished vocalist has long since given up trying to sound like anyone other than Bruce, much to the delight of his audiences.

The doors open at 6 p.m. and the music flows starting at 7. Between each set, enjoy pass-around appetizers from Speck Pizza + Street Food.
