Chicago-based new music jazz big band Heisenberg Uncertainty Players perform the album release show for Return To The Enchanted Forest, released via Bespoke Jazz/Outside In. Return is loosely built around the theme of memory and how memories evolve over time. By using catchy melodies and hooks, trance-inducing grooves, haunting reverb, and twisted arrangements of two well-known pop music classics, these eight tracks offer a unique, poignant, and accessible depiction of thoughts remembered and distorted.

Formed in 2011, Heisenberg Uncertainty Players is a jazz big band that performs exclusively original music by its leader and founder, John Dorhauer. HUP has been a mainstay on the Chicago music scene for the past 15 years, with over 200 public performances during that time, including an invitation to perform at the Ear Taxi 2021 Festival. HUP's music is noted for its eclecticism, particularly with Dorhauer's quirky versions of beloved rock and pop music. HUP has played several entire albums, including ones by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Heart, Wings, and Pink Floyd. Other themed shows include a historical retrospective of boy band music, heavy metal music, and symphonic movements. Many of Dorhauer's original compositions are built around inventive themes, including "The Basketball Suite," featuring songs inspired by the modern NBA, and "We Tear Down Our Coliseums," which is a 9-movement multimedia suite about destroyed baseball stadium.
