About The Class

This eight-week class focuses on one of the most critical element of building on the foundations and skills of Improv. Here we focus on starting scenes with decisive initiations and confident stage presence. Agreement ( yes and…) and group mind as well as working on character development and emotional investment. Trusting yourself as well as your scene partner is the first step towards great scene work. This class concludes with a class performance showcasing the skills of building strong foundations.

Beyond being funny - improv is a great tool for anyone who wants to get quicker at thinking on their feet, and a great way to meet cool new people!

Meet The Instructor: Tyler Ray Kendrick

What can be said about Tyler Ray Kendrick that hasn't already been said about the Arby’s on McKnight road? For the last several years he has performed in all the major comedy markets in the US New York City, Los Angeles, and Bridgeville Pennsylvania. Mr. Tall, dark and grandson himself. He’s a lover and a fighter. A lover of Pho and a fighter for human rights. Just a real Gen X'er trapped in a millennial's body. He was voted Best Comedian in 2022 Pittsburgh Magazine's Best of the Burgh .
