JahRiffe, a first-generation Jamaican, is a dynamic solo artist and the lead singer of the

JAH-N-I ROOTS Movement. His music, which he calls World Roots Reggae, is a fusion

of deep-rooted reggae traditions with a global sound, reflecting his rich cultural

background and life experiences.

Growing up in Bronx, NY, he was heavily influenced by reggae legends such as Bob

Marley, Peter Tosh, Black Uhuru, and Jimmy Cliff. His passion for music was sparked

early by his stepfather’s Supersonic Sound System, inspiring him to start his own Poison

Clan Sound System at just 13. “Music was my life—I ran the streets, skipped school, and

spent my days digging for the latest records at Moody’s, New Looks, and Jammies,” he

recalls.

At 17, JahRiffe moved to Boston, where music became his sanctuary and creative outlet.

His spiritual transformation through Rastafari deeply influenced his songwriting,

turning his music into a powerful tool for change. "Rastafari changed my life," he says,

citing Robert Walker’s Blood Posse as the book that introduced him to spiritual

mysticism and inspired him to write conscious lyrics.

His debut album, "Rastafari Love" (2005), marked his arrival on the reggae scene,

followed by "Check Your Timing" (2013), which expanded his reach, leading to

performances alongside reggae greats like Kymani Marley and Mighty Diamonds.

JahRiffe’s breakthrough moment came in 2016 with his hit single, "Rasta Can't Fade",

which amassed over 100K views in its first week on Reggaeville.com, propelling him to

share stages with Jah9, Kabaka Pyramid, and Iba Mahr.

In 2019, after opening for Jah9, he collaborated with bassist Jah D (David Goldfine) in

Florida to produce his introspective album, "Reflections". The album captures his

journey through life’s trials—fatherhood, relationships, and his evolution as a musician

and Black entrepreneur.

His 2022 release, "We’re Groovin’", embodies his philosophy: “Struggle leads to glory.”

This was followed by fan favorites in 2023-2024, including "Liberty," "Twin Flame,"

"Closer," and "Lifted", which led him to perform with icons like Third World, Anthony

B, and Richie Spice.

JahRiffe’s music isn’t just entertainment—it’s a spiritual experience. His performances

are immersive, leaving audiences feeling uplifted and reconnected. “Reggae is more than

music; it’s a vibration, a message that reminds us who we are,” he says. His mission is to

inspire, guide, and heal—especially the youth—through the power of sound and

storytelling. His music is available on SoundCloud and all major streaming platforms
