Catch genre-bending Jeremy Short live in Atlanta on November 6, 2026 at Smith's Olde Bar in the Atlanta Room. Hailing from the hills of Eastern Kentucky, he calls his sound “Appalachian Space Funk”—a genre-bending blend of gritty blues, deep funk, and Southern soul.

He’s got the look (you won’t miss the fiery orange mustache), the chops (named one of the top 30 blues guitarists at the International Blues Challenge), and the voice (smooth, soulful, and full of grit). But most importantly, he’s got heart—and he brings it to every note.

Hailing from the hills of Eastern Kentucky, he calls his sound “Appalachian Space Funk”—a genre-bending blend of gritty blues, deep funk, and Southern soul, and his vibrant stage presence is igniting stages across the country.

Even if you’ve never heard his name before, there’s a good chance you’ve felt his vibe. Short is carving a name for himself as one of the most dynamic performers on today’s roots and jam circuit. He’s shared stages with Grace Bowers, John Oates, Jared James Nichols, Wynonna Judd, Ben Folds, Tommy Prine, Maggie Rose, Sierra Hull, Lucas Nelson, Tyler Childers, Kingfish, Marcus King, John Osborne, and Taj Mahal, and lit up festival crowds at places like Bonnaroo, FloydFest, Healing Appalachia, and Master Musicians Festival.

This isn't background music. This is lose-yourself, forget-the-world, dance-until-you’re-sweaty kind of music. Whether you're a diehard blues fan, a funk enthusiast, or just someone who wants to feel something real, a Jeremy Short show will leave you buzzing for days.

You might walk in curious. You’ll walk out converted.

The Snozzberries are an undeniable force of raw musical power, a constantly evolving band laser-focused on pushing boundaries. Their huge, distinct sound is a sonic voyage, epitomized by hi-energy psychedelia, progressive metal, and jazz fusion. Praised by Rolling Stone as a “jubilant rock act,” The Snozzberries are a rising star in the worlds of psych, prog and jam.

The Asheville, NC based rock group has always emphasized engaging with their audience through tight musical arrangements and improvisational exploration. Delving deeper into a new era of progressive fusion-based storytelling, The Snozzberries are ready to nourish the masses with their infectious riffs and memorable vocal harmonies.

In November 2024, The Snozzberries released their self-titled album to rave reviews. Described by Grateful Web as "a gift for all progressive music fans," The Snozzberries is a cosmic journey, channeling dark psych rock, thrash metal, funk and soul to weave a tapestry of love, loss and redemption. Prog Magazine praised the album as “Pushing the envelope in energy, chaos and breadth...An exuberant collection of tasty grooves and kaleidoscopic jams.”

On a hot streak of creativity, the band recently released “Durt Nap” and “Just After 2” the first in a series of live-studio singles. Each of these new singles has been recorded, mixed and mastered by the band’s drummer Logan Jayne at his home studio, and all feature an accompanying music video. Fans can anticipate their first live record by the end of 2026.

The Snozzberries notably thrive as a live ensemble, so much that Live For Live Music wrote “the band delivered a hard-hitting set that raged against the elements and was a worthwhile reason for many - including this reporter - to get soaked.” Their recent performance to a raucous crowd of 4,000 at Bonnaroo exemplifies their command of an audience. They’ve also appeared at Hulaween, Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival, Summer Camp, Resonance, Sweetwater 420 Fest, Front Porch Fest, Warren Haynes Xmas Jam By Day, AVLFest and more. They have shared the stage with bands such as Weedeater, Papadosio, Andy Frasco & The UN, Perpetual Groove, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Here Come The Mummies, and Big Something and have played official afterparties for Umphrey's McGee, The Disco Biscuits and Lotus.
