Shelby Morgan's sound blends 80s-inspired synth-pop with indie-pop and contemporary pop-rock, pairing nostalgic textures with modern songwriting and an emotional, high-energy live show. Often drawing vocal comparisons to Miley Cyrus, Shania Twain, and P!nk, with influences from Stevie Nicks to Robert Smith of The Cure. Since beginning in 2018, she's built a cohesive visual and musical identity rooted in nostalgia and sustainability, alongside a vintage clothing line, Insomnia Vintage. Mentored by Nile Rodgers early on, Shelby has since released four EPs and 2 debut LP's, Confessions of a Drama Queen (2024) and her sophomore album Why Wouldn't I Want to Put it On Display?, which was released this past April.
