Kevin James Thornton has built a loyal following with his hilarious, heartfelt and occasionally cringey moments of self reflection (with a splash of autotune) about growing up gay in a religious community in the 90s.

He has nearly 3 million followers across social media with combined views of over a billion. His first special “Be Yourself” was released by Comedy Dynamics and can be seen on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.

Thornton signed to Stimola Literary for his first autobiographical book due for a 2026 release.

His 2024 tour saw sold out shows around the world where a recent review of his show at The Stand in Newcastle UK said, “Warm, witty and disarmingly self-deprecating… There is a tender centre to Thornton that makes his comedy sing; a delicate, relatable touch that left the crowd buoyed up and thirsty for more.” (Narc Magazine, UK)

Bloomington's own, Mat Alano-Martin has spent the last 15 years on the road telling jokes and sharing stories all across America. He has appeared at comedy clubs, theaters, punk rock dives, redneck roadhouses, casinos, colleges, living rooms and everywhere in between. Alano-Martin’s albums “Profiled as Such,” “Blood Mouth” and “Midnight Nachos” can be heard in regular rotation on Sirius/XM’s comedy channels and he has appeared on NPR, Laughs on Hulu and The Bob & Tom Show. He has worked with such notable acts as Patton Oswalt, Tig Notaro, Maria Bamford, Chris Gethard and Brother Ali. He has performed at several festivals and prominent showcases across the country and beyond.
