The masked masters of instrumental rock, Los Straitjackets, bring their world-renowned “combo sound” — shimmering guitars, driving rhythms, and pure retro energy — while Deke Dickerson, the Ameripolitan Musician of the Year, delivers his signature blend of rockabilly swagger and vintage soul.

Los Straitjackets are masters of the 'combo sound-' the two guitar, bass and drums lineup pioneered and popularized by the early Beatles. Using the music of The Ventures, The Shadows, Link Wray and Dick Dale as a jumping off point, the band has taken their unique, high energy brand of instrumental rock & roll around the world.

Wearing their trademark Lucha Libre Mexican wrestling masks, Los Straitjackets have also served as the backing band for Nick Lowe since 2016. Their latest release, Somos Los Straitjackets demonstrates why Los Straitjackets have reigned as the kings of modern instrumental rock for over thirty years with shimmering tremolo, relentless drum grooves, and hooks so catchy they don’t need lyrics to get stuck in your head.

Deke Dickerson is a West Coast musician, singer, and author specializing in vintage roots music, including rockabilly, honky-tonk, blues, and garage rock. He was named Ameripolitan Musician of the Year.

Equal parts sincere archivist and irreverent innovator, Dickerson imbues his recordings with considerable production sense, droll humor, and doubleneck-guitar know-how to spare. He’s a skilled singer-songwriter with an impressive knack for recasting old tunes. Moreover, after honing his skill with a variety of bands, he has emerged as one of his genre's finest interpreters.
