Performing songs from his FOLKLORE EP with a full band, Pierce will be joined by D.C.’s own Kirti Pandey, a critically acclaimed producer and DJ, and AAKHU, a genre-bending R&B artist. Expect powerful narratives, rich instrumentation, and a one-of-a-kind live experience.
AAKHU
Hailing from the cultural epicenter of Prince George’s County, Maryland, this multi-hyphenated creative curates genre-bending beats while penning thought-provoking lyrics from the confines of his 500 square-foot apartment. Masterfully blending his Jamaican roots with a natural affinity for experimental rock and hip-hop, his tracks can best be described as alternative, world-level RnB that’s both refreshing and unapologetically him. Following the release of his 2022 Valentine’s Day-themed EP “From a Place of Love”, AAKHU has cultivated an impressive social following, steadily amassing over 500,000 streams and 200,000 dedicated followers eagerly anticipating his next move. With each meticulously crafted beat, lyric, and melody, his upcoming 2025 release promises to redefine rhythmic boundaries while propelling our young architect to the forefront of the world’s stage.
