The Armors

The Armors are a DC-based rock and roll band, with influences ranging between punk, Thin Lizzy, and 80s pop. For the past two years, the band has played in bars, record stores and basements and will be recording their first album later in the fall.

Cash on the Nail

Cash on the Nail is a DC punk trio featuring ex-Weird Babies, Alex Dent, on guitar and Josh Freed on bass, and DC’s Different Drummers’ Lydia Homovich on drums. All three sing. The band is simultaneously heavy, melodic, quiet, and screamy, like life in the 2020s. Between them, the members of Cash on the Nail have played 100+ shows across countless venues past and present in DC, Baltimore, Toronto, and Chicago.

Bohemian Waxwing

Bohemian Waxwing is a coming together of four musicians with roots in alt-country, punk, ambient, and indie rock. They are at home playing local bills with punk bands, as well as quiet backyard acoustic shows. With songs that range from propulsive post-punk to delicate meditations, their lyrics sit at the intersection of our internal and external lives. Their songs might be compared to Yo La Tengo, with the harmonic leanings of XTC, and the lyrical bent of Bill Calahan.
