The Backing Tracks
For Fans Of: Tom Misch, Parcels, Thundercat
The Backing Tracks are a DC-based live band known for keeping audiences on their toes. Their setlists pull from jazz, funk, soul, rock, and everything in between, with a rotating lead vocalist and a different setlist every show, so no two nights are quite the same. Prithvi Iyer (Drums), Ryan Salsburg (Guitar), Josh Cergas (Bass), and Alex Jerome (Keyboard) bring together extensive musical backgrounds to play a mix of groovy originals and unique covers ranging from Chick Corea to progressive rock, built on tight instrumentation, rich musical harmonies, and the kind of range that tends to surprise people.
Wheat For Sheep
FFO: Mt. Joy, The Backseat Lovers, Red Hot Chili Peppers
Since 2024, Wheat for Sheep has been building momentum with a sound rooted in indie groove and memorable choruses. Taking cues from their favorite bands, its members have spent the last two years sharpening their identity and expanding their creative reach- boldy delivering original music that is energetic, heartfelt and built for live crowds.
Room on Fire
FFO: Fleetwood Mac, Big Thief, and The Band
roomonfire builds its music around compelling harmonies, beautiful soundscapes, and lyrics that sometimes hit way too close to home. What started as a few acoustic jams has evolved into an original full electric project with the aim of creating songs that stick with you long after the show has ended. Also, no, we are not a cover band for The Strokes.
