Meet The Staff

John Hurtt


With more than eight years of experience in the wine industry, John brings a thoughtful, grounded approach to wine service and education. Currently working toward his Level Two Sommelier Certification, he continues to deepen his expertise through formal study and travel to some of the world’s most celebrated wine regions. Whether curating wine lists, guiding tastings, or sharing the stories behind each vintage, John is dedicated to making wine approachable, memorable, and rooted in genuine connection.


John works with Stockroom East on several of our events, from concerts to privatly hosted parties.

Lauren Stephenson


Certified as a Cheese Professional through the American Cheese Society, Lauren Stephenson is a passionate monger known for their deep knowledge and ability to tell the story behind every wedge and wheel.


Having spent time on the East Coast, Lauren has worked in all facets of cheese from mongering, making, and affinage. Their philosophy blends tradition with discovery, offering guests a memorable journey through textures, terroirs, and time-honored techniques.


Lauren mongers at local cheese shop, Oh Mamma's, and acts as a part-time affineur for local creamery J2K Capraio.

Venue Information - Stockroom East

  • Any person age 2+ must purchase a ticket. To ensure a great audience experience, we respectfully ask guests with infant/toddler children to keep them on their person during the show.
  • The venue is a GA with limited seating. Depending on the show, we will have seating available. Staff will make seating available if there is a medical need.
  • Doors typically open 60 minutes before the show. Verify on the ticket page.
  • **PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY WEAPONS OF ANY SORT: Pocket Knives will not be permitted**
  • Security will check all bags before entry. If possible, please try to limit any larger bags or purses.
  • No PROFESSIONAL cameras or recording devices are allowed.

Parking

  • Parking is available on the north side of the building, and there is street parking around Howard Park.


Prohibited Items

  • No outside food or drink is permitted within the venue. Weapons of any kind, Glass, Sharp Items, Cutlery, Shade Structures, Chairs, Tables, Pets or smoking of any kind (including E-Cigs) will not be permitted within the venue.
  • Any person attempting to bring alcohol into the venue will be ejected or refused entry without refund.
