“This sure ain’t Taylor Swift or Lady A type of country. This is as edgy, darker, and even grubbier than Ashley McBryde or early Kasey Musgraves ever went...and I bloody love it!" -Rockin Magpie
Trashy Annie came crashing onto the Austin music scene in 2021, led by 2023 CMA of Texas Americana Artist of the Year and trumpet player turned rockstar Annie Davis. Annie, at 44 years old, decided to pick up her first guitar and write her first song during the pandemic. She fell in love with songwriting and jumped in headfirst. 4 years later she is touring the country and leaving a path of glitter in her wake. She named the band Trashy Annie after people on social media criticized her for wearing clothes that were “too young” for her. Annie quickly raised a big glittery middle finger to the haters, built herself a badass rock band, and hit the road, to the delight of their rapidly growing fan base.
Combining unapologetically gritty lyrics and hooky melodies with everything from hard hitting rock to stripped down acoustic…Trashy Annie will make you laugh, cry, and wonder where the hell these guys came from. Described as the “ultimate combination of Sheryl Crow, Joan Jett, Loretta Lynn, and Kid Rock”, Annie was signed to Cleopatra Records in late 2022 in anticipation of her debut album, Sticks and Stones.

Urgent Care are Cleveland's healthcore pioneers, playing fast and dirty with both medical and musical instruments. Fast Medicine –their debut album from 2023– was hailed as “a 14-track back alley lobotomy of snarling, snotty punk rock and roll” by Upstarter.com, and has since taken the [My]charts by storm. With song topics ranging from antibiotic resistance to frostbite, the band elevates what could become trite schtick into clever and infectious earworms. A close listen reveals something undeniably genuine beneath the snarky surface, but always their core mission is good times and loud riffs. At their live shows, it is not uncommon to experience the “wheel of diagnosis,” witness a laboratory accident, or see a band member brought back to life with defibrillators. All the while, their garage punk calamity speeds forth like a fusillade of sharps disposal bins hurled from the upper atmosphere.
