Trinomial
For Fans of: BADBADNOTGOOD, Kiefer, and Hiatus Kaiyote
Trinomial is an experimental fusion trio that casts a sonically diverse net of inspiration. While embracing the traditions of jazz, boom-bap, and samba (to name a few), the Prince George's County natives make music that prioritizes exploration. The trio formed from rekindled grade school friendships, and the music reflect this; revealing the truth of their time spent apart, their work simultaneously projects an imagined future as a unit.
Frewt
FFO: Men I Trust, Lake Street Dive, Crumb, Sault
Formed at late-night Gaithersburg jam sessions in 2023, FREWT brings a dynamic sound that ventures from dark, synth-heavy R&B grooves, to high energy guitar-driven funk/rock fusion, to beautiful duet-ballads. Featuring smoky, sultry lead vocals (Cam Dulaney) and a dual lead guitar attack (Manu Alvarez and Will Saar), FREWT bring their original songs to the stage with an energy that isn't afraid to lay back before getting down.
Will Kobus
FFO: Earl Sweatshirt, Mick Jenkins & James Fauntleroy
Will Kobus is a 27 year old New Jersey-bred and DC-based artist. His approach to creating is and has been rooted in therapy, with many of his tracks acting as a mirror for him to self-reflect not only on his flaws and shortcomings, but the world around him at large.
