Gremlins is a 1984 horror-comedy film about a young man who receives a strange, furry creature called a Mogwai for Christmas.

After inadvertently breaking three crucial rules—no bright lights, no getting it wet, and no feeding it after midnight—he unleashes a horde of mischievous and destructive Gremlins that wreak havoc on his small town. The film follows Billy, his family, and his girlfriend Kate as they fight back against the monstrous creatures.
