Listen live, in person or over the radio! 91.3 WFHB presents Sleeping Trees & David Woodruff’s Moonscreen: Live at Buskirk-Chumley Theater. This monthly concert series features performances from local and regional artists in collaboration between Bloomington's community theater and radio station.

Sleeping Trees is an alternative folk group formed in 2024 in Bloomington IN. What began as a songwriting project turned into a 6-piece ensemble with a broad instrumentation. Made up of musicians from a variety of backgrounds, Sleeping Trees incorporates elements of folk, indie-rock, and improvisation into an eclectic, modern take on songwriting. The band will be releasing their debut album “All In Motion” in February 2025.

The name “Moonscreen” could imply an interface with the moon.

The moon has been a reliable confidant to dreamers and artsy types, for all of time.

“Moonscreen” could also describe a balm against a burn from overexposure to moonlight.

David Woodruff chose this name for his navel-gazing bedroom-pop songwriting project.

A cast of Bloomington All-Stars supports David;

the illustrious Aaron Denton on bass, ever-present drummer Chuck Roldan, and the singular, Damion, playing guitar.
