Nur-D = Your 7th Favorite Hip Hop Person Minneapolis-St Paul, MN
Nur-D isn’t your typical hip-hop artist. Hailing from Minnesota, he’s bringing something fresh to the scene—hip-hop packed with personality, high-energy performances, and a kaleidoscopic mix of influences. Think contemporary rap infused with the pageantry of ‘80s glam rock, with a sprinkle of pop and funk. It’s music made for anyone who’s ever felt like they don’t quite fit in. Performing alongside national acts like MisterWives, Ludacris, Tyler The Creator, and the Grammy Award winning Minnesota Orchestra, Nur-D is well on his way to becoming a house hold name!
Designated Best New MN Artist in 2019 (Citypages), headlined The 2020 “Best New Bands” show at First
Avenue, honoree for the 2021 National Philanthropy Day (University of Minnesota), awarded 2021 Best Live Concert (Citypages), voted the 2022 Best Musician/Local Artist (Twin Cities Collective), Nur-D brings an explosion of energy every time he hits the stage!

Isavela Lopez = Isavela Lopez is a multidisciplinary Indigenous artist, storyteller, and activist of Zapotec heritage from Oaxaca, Mexico. Based in the Twin Cities, she brings together her gifts in spoken word, writing, dance, and film to illuminate issues of cultural resilience, climate justice, and Indigenous rights. As a proud Danzante and Spoken Word Artist, Isavela uses performance as both a creative expression and a call to action, centering her work in traditional teachings and ceremonies that continue to guide her path. Isavela has supported global Land Protectors through work at the United Nations, using her voice to raise awareness about climate injustice, particularly in Indigenous communities across Latin America and the United States. Locally, she has collaborated with Indigenous Roots Cultural Arts Center and the International Indigenous Youth Council - Twin Cities Chapter, forging community-centered projects that uplift Indigenous youth. Her artistry is deeply rooted in honoring the land, her ancestors, and the continued struggles of her people. Isavela's mission is to empower future generations by reminding them that their cultural heritage- language, ceremony, and tradition-is not only sacred, but also a source of power, beauty, and resistance.

BRANDYN LEE TULLOCH & POETIC ROOTS = Poetic Roots is a collective of Black musicians playing Black music.
