ANVIL

Anvil is an influential Canadian heavy metal band formed in Toronto in 1978. Often cited as the "unluckiest band in rock," they were early pioneers of speed metal and thrash metal, directly influencing major acts like Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax, even though they spent decades in relative obscurity.

The band's career was famously revitalized by the 2008 documentary Anvil! The Story of Anvil. The film, which follows founding members Steve "Lips" Kudlow and Robb Reiner as they work day jobs while refusing to give up on their musical dreams, became a critical hit and led to a "second renaissance" for the band.

GRAVERIPPER

Graveripper is an American blackened thrash metal band from Indianapolis, Indiana, formed in 2019. They describe their sound as a fusion of German thrash (like Kreator) and early Norwegian black metal (like Immortal), often referred to as "Black Thrash 'N' Roll". The band is currently signed to Wise Blood Records and consists of founding member Corey Parks (vocals/guitars), Steven Garcia (bass), and Nick James (drums). The band has released two full-length albums and several EPs, evolving from a high-speed thrash sound into a darker, more "frostbitten" black metal atmosphere.

STAR CHAMBER
