Arkansauce calls forth melodies of the Ozark Mountains' rolling hills and raging rivers with their distinct blend of newgrass. This progressive string quartet features Tom Andersen on bass, guitarist Zac Archuleta, Ethan Bush on mandolin, and Adams Collins on banjo.
Their music features improvisational string leads matched with complex melodies, intriguing rhythms, and deep thumping bass grooves. Each member sings lead and harmony parts as well as contributes to the lyrics, which offer authentic, intelligent songwriting with hard-hitting hooks.
With special guest Katt Holiday:
Born in England to an American military family, Katt Holiday brings to the stage a wealth of influences as varied as the places they have lived. After years of touring in multiple bands playing various styles, Katt released their first proper full-length solo album in 2024. The record mirrors Katt's live show, displaying a musical style that bridges the gaps between folk traditions, modern eclecticism, and the energetic "lay it all out there" attitude of punk rock, tied together with biting social commentary and a sardonic sense of humor.
Basically, the formula is simple. With a unique voice, a Gretsch guitar, and a kick drum installed in an old suitcase, Katt Holiday is out to find their place and say their piece in an absurd, often dark, but just as often beautiful world.
