She initially learned photography through trial and error, but she has since improved her skills by taking numerous photography classes. She has studied under several art teachers and earned an Associates degree and Photographers Certificate. Her artistic journey began with ceramics, not photography. ARTIST STATEMENT
In this collection of images, I set out to encapsulate the allure of eerie and Halloween-inspired visuals. My usual focus revolves around captivating scenes featuring vivid, intense colors and organic landscapes. This collection deliberately intends to evoke a distinct Halloween ambiance. My objective was to craft immersive spectacles that unveil intricate subtleties upon closer scrutiny, through the lens of opulent and captivating compositions. I take pleasure in exploring diverse vantage points and viewpoints for every subject I photograph.
Creating an image, within an image, is a fascinating process. It involves blending two images that wouldn't normally go together and then adding texture. To create these images, I used a combination of photography and post-processing tools such as Photoshop and Lightroom. I added creative touches to each photo, including color grading, lighting adjustments, and special effects. The final result is a collection of interesting and thought-provoking images. By blending classic landscape elements with modern techniques, I was able to create an engaging interpretation of creepy.
