SHOW DESCRIPTION: bellwire return to Boston with a new song in their bittersweet register tackling love, existence, and entropy. "LOVEBIRDS" (featuring a fellow sweet prince of New England songcraft, Jake McKelvie, singing harmony). The song will come out on the morning of the show.

Since frontman Tyler berd's move to the west coast, the full bellwire is at most a twice-a-year sighting in these haunts. Don't sleep on this, especially with their roadworn pirate pedal-steel player Jonee Earthquake at the slide and pedals.

They will be joined by two local favorites: Yes, Chef and Mel Starr and the Astral Projection.

ARTIST BIO: bellwire is a New England rock band first formed in the summer of 2011, now most commonly spotted in the fall. Early experiments in lo-fi, surf, and punk gave way to their jangly power-pop style typified on the EP, Dog Thoughts. Their self-titled 2022 LP is an alt-country concept album that tells a story of love and loss (single: Dreamin’). Often appearing with New England pirate-punk stalwart Jonee Earthquake on pedal steel, their high-energy performances still put lyrics and story first.
