ARTIST BIO:

Ari Goldberg is the host and executive producer of Blank Page. He can often be found with a book written by Rick Riordan in his bag! Along with being a huge fan of the Percy Jackson universe, Ari is a Boston based improvisor with over a decade of performance under his belt. Short-form, long-form, sketch, he's done it all! Catch him every Tuesday at Improv Asylum's House Teams shows or listen to any number of his long running comedy podcasts like Crews Control, Yes And Dragons, and of course, Blank Page. Want another fun fact about Ari? The theme of his Bar Mitzvah was simply "books"! He was the COOLEST kid. You can find him on Instagram at @arithelionking.

Bo Segrest is a writer and comedian based in Boston, MA. He has performed on house teams at Improv Asylum, and Harold nights at Union Comedy. He is also the producer of Modern Exhibits: a sketch comedy podcast, and he is the co-editor of Yesterday’s Magazine (a local print comedy publication.) When he is not doing comedy, Bo can be found reading pulpy books from the 50's or simply frolicking.

Kayla Hutchins is a Boston-based musician, improviser, and co-host of Blank Page. While this is her first live show about reading, Kayla has been reading into things her entire life. Emma Skinner knows how to read. In addition to being one of the hosts of the world famous Blank Page podcast and a Boston-based improviser. Emma has read every non-fiction dog encyclopedia, Greek mythology picture book, and The Giver by Lois Lowry 18 times. August Kees was crowned champion of Reeves Middle School’s Battle of the Books competition. Other impressive accolades include reading all of Crime and Punishment without SparkNotes, and evading overdue library fees by fleeing his home state. August is a co-host on the Blank Page podcast, and the self-proclaimed bad boy of Improv Asylum. Creature doesn’t know how to read, but he loves to watch comedians read out loud. He is not an improviser, but he considers himself to be a “staple part of the community”. Creature does not know where he came from, or how old he is, but he doesn’t let that get him down! One day he hopes to be released from the podcast studio so he can pursue his dreams of public indecency.

Limited Late Seating: Due to the architecture of our space, the entrance is next to the stage and it is disruptive to the performer to enter late. We will seat you if there is an opener but once the headliner starts, you may be allowed to sit in the lobby but will not be allowed to enter. Please know this is for the best experience for the artist. No refunds for late entry.

Start Time: Performances will begin no later than 15 minutes after stated show time.
