Chris Fleming was named one of Variety’s Ten Comics to Watch for 2019. He has amassed over 70 million views on his Youtube channel and has appeared in Comedy Central’s CORPORATE, Splitting Up Together, Netflix’s Last Laugh and Twelve Forever.

The Huffington Post has called him “perhaps one of the best things on the internet.” Of his live show, Chortle says, “you can’t take your eyes off this unpredictable, exciting performer.” Splitsider says, “a madman and I think, genius.” According to Vulture, “equal parts imagination and inferiority complex, a combination that has led him to create some of the most bizarrely funny performance art taking place online and onstage today.”

Why'd We Book It?

If you asked me who my favorite comedian was at any point since we opened, my answer has probably been Chris Fleming. And now he's finally coming our way for the latest Bottlerocket Residency!

Completely singular, totally hilarious, and extremely (in my experience) unexplainable-to-your-parents - Chris merges slapstick physical comedy with some of the most specific surealist premises yet to be attempted on stage. Chris has an unparalleled ability to combine both traditional standup structure (see his Dane Cook/Bill Burr story) with batshit theater-kid-who-overdosed-on-the-internet theatricality & surrealism (see Sick Jan )

We've had amazing opportunities to work with some of the most hilarious people in the world here at Bottlerocket - but Chris has always been the act I hoped we'd get. Now, here he is... so don't blow it!!

- Chris (not Fleming)
