More on the featured Artists:

RaiiN Ali:

Sierra (RaiiN) Ali was born in Baltimore, MD (1991), raised in Sacramento, CA, earned her degree in Education in 2015, and spent four years in Asia (2015-2019). She traveled through 11 countries while maintaining a home base in Thailand in those four years and returned to California to earn her teaching credential. RaiiN found her role to balance the lack of love in our society through experiencing an immersion of life in a never before colonized society. Currently she is focussing her work as a Pan-Afrikan and a resource to her community through education and holistic wellness with a focus on gut wealth, and martial, visual, and auditory arts.

Isaiah Guerrero:

Isaiah’s an Afrikaan and Chamorro musician, teacher, and community member focused on creating a live music option for Sacramento's marginalized and oppressed. He is available for everything from production to arrangement, and he wants Sacramento to start paying attention to its own local talent instead of recreating industry standards in larger markets. He is accessible and here for you, reach out!

Diamond Key:

Diamond Key is a multi-faceted artist quickly gaining Sacramento’s attention both on and off stage. Dedicated to using her creative expressions as a means of empowerment and inspiration, Diamond's work revolves around creating community through upliftment and joy. As Co-Founder of the First Church of Poetry, Diamond has helped establish a truly diverse platform where artists and community can come together to connect and heal through artistic expression in all its forms.

Serena Galindo

Serena Galindo graduated from UC Santa Cruz where she initially majored in art and attained her B.S. in Plant Sciences. She went on to perform lab and greenhouse experiments in various fields such as agriculture, forestry and conservation. As a former UC researcher, Serena incorporates the interlinkage between science and spirit which is expressed through abstract, surreal, and transcendental manifestations. What is Storytelling?

“Storytelling uses words to create new worlds and experiences in a reader or listener’s imagination. Storytelling can impact human emotions. It can also lead people to accept original ideas or encourage them to take action.”

Storytelling is one of the oldest, purest art forms. It is also a beautiful exchange and passing on of stories from generation to generation.
