Chicken P is a key player in Milwaukee's deep and eccentric underground hip-hop circles, with his effortlessly cool delivery, off-center personality, and musical adventurousness all being core values of the city's Slap Movement, a regional approach to rap that's unique to Milwaukee. His prolifically released tracks appeared on mixtapes, singles, and frequent releases like the 2024 full-length project Hardest N***a Livin'.

Sometimes also known as Little Chicken or Big Chicken, Milwaukee rapper Chicken P began making music sometime around 2016. His bass-heavy trap sound, unconventional melodies, and steel-edged lyrics of street hustling and drug dealing all congealed into a sound that caught on locally, and played into waves of influence and inspiration happening around Milwaukee. His earliest recordings appeared on releases like the 2018 mixtape Chicken Scratch, as well as his 2020 album Strictly 4 Tha Streetz. Chicken P has collaborated with artists like MKE Verified and Yung Bleu before going on to release solo ventures such as the 2022 mixtape BussaBrick, Vol.1: Deep in the Pot and 2024 efforts like the EP release 4EvaLit and longer project Hardest N***a Livin', all issued on his own Really Rich Empire imprint and licensed to 10K Projects.
