Citizen Soldier was born when frontman Jake Segura penned the lyrics to one of their first songs from a psychiatric hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Segura now sits on the other side of the therapy couch, working as a licensed trauma counselor to tell the stories of those navigating internal struggles through a no-frills alt/rock post/grunge packaging. The Utah five piece of members Jake Segura (lead vocals), Wonita (bass/piano) Kyle Persell (drums) Kooper Hanosky (rhythm guitar), and Matt Duffney (lead guitar) doesn’t tip toe around the ugliest parts of life, masterfully communicating what many struggle to put into words. They do so through soaring melodic power balladry, infectious instrumental hooks, and gut-punching storytelling.
“Citizen Soldier isn’t your typical rock band. While many groups dabble in themes of heartbreak or personal struggle, this Utah-based ensemble have made it their mission to confront mental health issues head on.”
— Phoenix New Times
The results speak for themselves; A ravenously loyal fan base that has forced an entirely independent group into the same circles as some of the biggest names in rock music. The band boasts 900k+ TikTok followers, 800+ million listens worldwide, and 1+ million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. In August of 2024, the band celebrated its first #1 single on the iTunes rock charts, “Burden”.
The band’s live productions, self-described as “group therapy sessions”, have been an instant hit with their supporters all over the United States. In just one year of touring, the band caught lightning in a bottle, logging a #84 rank on Pollstar, selling out their first headlining tour in 1500+ cap rooms, and earning slots at prestigious rock festivals (Welcome to Rockville, Aftershock, Louder Than Life, Rockfest, Upheaval, Sonic Temple, and more). These placements have been attained the old fashion way- by selling lots of tickets. No label, no manager, no political connections, no leveraging of favors- just proving they belong through their own hard work.
“Citizen Soldier is one of the fastest growing bands in the alternative rock space. Their ascension has been remarkable, going from headlining 200 to 1500+ cap venues in a blink of an eye through powerful songs that have profoundly related with fans across the globe.”

Citizen Soldier just released their new LP, "ICARUS", on November 13th, 2024. The record explores the band’s self-help themes through massive rock anthems, begging to be played in arenas. Segura mused:
“ICARUS is a representation of intense frustration. Touring the country, I heard stories everyday of people feeling trapped. Trapped in their job, a dysfunctional relationship, addiction, personal trauma, sometimes in their own mistakes or maladaptive behaviors. There are too many voices in the world telling people what to do- but what people crave is validation, and to feel seen. This album does just that.”
The 11-track collection features pop-sensible hooks, bombastic guitar riffage, and gut-wrenching moments, especially in tracks like Good Old Days and Feels Like A Funeral, the latter painting a picture of a mother battling post-partum depression. The intended message is resonating, as the album has already achieved over 40 million streams.

Over the course of nearly 20 years, 10 Years have consistently evolved, pushing themselves and modern rock forward. On their ninth studio album Violent Allies, the Knoxville-based trio—Jesse Hasek, Brian Vodinh, and Matt Wantland—channel personal growth, emotional depth, and sonic experimentation into a cohesive and powerful body of work. With the help of GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Howard Benson, the band returned to their roots, locking into a creative rhythm that reignited their bond and reminded them of the joy and challenge of making music together.
Violent Allies explores both personal and global unrest, reflecting on themes of division, vulnerability, and healing. Tracks like “The Shift” tackle the human impact on society and the environment, while songs like “The Unknown” and “Say Goodbye” navigate uncertainty and loss with honesty and emotional weight. From ambient instrumentals to heavy rock anthems, the album spans a wide sonic range, showcasing the band’s maturity and willingness to take risks. For 10 Years, this record marks more than a new chapter—it’s a testament to enduring brotherhood, creative clarity, and the beauty of growth through struggle.

Adelitas Way burst onto the Las Vegas music scene in 2006, quickly gaining attention with their high-energy live shows and landing a deal with Virgin Records. Their breakout hit “Invincible” became a Top 5 Active Rock Radio single and was widely featured across major media platforms including WWE, CSI: Miami, ESPN, and Fox Sports, eventually going Gold. Their 2011 follow-up album, Home School Valedictorian, solidified their place in the rock world with four Top 5 singles—two of which hit #1—and saw them touring with major acts like Shinedown, Godsmack, and Alter Bridge, earning over 150 million streams.
Continuing their momentum, the band released Stuck in 2014, followed by Getaway, marking their transition to full independence. Singles like “Dog on a Leash,” “Bad Reputation,” and “Ready for War (Pray for Peace)” continued to chart, with “Notorious” becoming their first independent Gold-certified hit. Now veterans of the rock scene, Adelitas Way has released eight albums, toured relentlessly with top acts, played major festivals, and surpassed one billion streams—all while remaining a fiercely independent force in modern rock.
