Dean Johnson is a Seattle-based Americana/folk singer-songwriter who, for years was known as the local scene’s best kept secret, working primarily as a bartender. Drawing comparisons to the storytelling style of John Prine and Roy Orbison, Dean’s music is characterized by a “rustic tenor” voice and minimalist guitar arrangements. Signed to iconic indie label Saddle Creek Records, Dean released his debut project in 2023 at 50 years old.
