TRIP THE WIRE

Formed in Seattle, Trip The Wire is a high-energy hard rock band with an 80s retro vibe. Their dynamic hooks, tight and driving rhythm 'n' grooves, fiery guitar leads and powerhouse vocals are best experienced live! The band released their self-titled debut on June 16th, 2023. Starting in February of 2025, they released 5 singles from their full-length, second album which is estimated to be available on CD by early 2026.

Dave Farrell (guitar) and Eve Clarke (lead vocals/guitar) started writing music via email during the pandemic in June of 2020. They recruited Johnny Massey (bass) and former drummer Eddy Rhoads and started jamming in person in October of 2020. Rico Ybarra replaced Eddy in September of 2021 as a "fill-in" that wound up fitting in so well that he stayed for three years and joined them in recording the debut album. After recording five songs for the second album, due to time constraints and different goals, Rico decided to depart. In October of 2024, Doug Peters stepped in on drums. He has recorded the remainder of the second album with the band as a permanent member.
