Fox Ears

Alonzo Johnson (songwriter, lead vocals, keyboards), Tyler Ray Lobdell (guitar, vocals), Jeff Larch (percussion) and Matt Gorey (bass) decided to blend their experiences together to make new music in the summer of 2022. Why go by Fox Ears? Foxes carry a myriad of characteristics. Sometimes they are described as intelligent, crafty hunters. Other times they're called mischievous, playful or goofy. Then there are some foxes that just scream in the woods for seemingly no reason at all. Known to walk the line between the wilds and society, and with such variety comprising their existence, the fox is a perfect metaphor for the philosophy the band holds and wants to share with you all through their music.

Quenton Rubin

Quenton “Que” Rubin is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer from Cleveland, Ohio who blends the best of funk, rock and blues. Que has performed with a range of artists from two-time Grammy-nominated and AMA-winning R&B artist Al B Sure on the 1988 Heartbreak Tour with New Edition and Bobby Brown, to collaborating with Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars. He’s also played with Levert, Meli’sa Morgan and Keith Sweat and Brenda K. Starr.

After taking an extended hiatus, in 2022 Que returned to the music scene to perform with local bands. Since 2024, Que has continued to ignite the stage with his own band, QRB, bringing a new wave of irresistible grooves and soulful funk. With each phase, Que has pushed the boundaries of his artistry, leaving a legacy of innovation and passion in the world of music.
