Skip the leftovers. Atlanta’s own Global Ringo takes over the legendary Smith’s Olde Bar Music Room on Black Friday for a post-Thanksgiving feast of Southern soul, cosmic groove, and backwater rock-and-roll.

Described by CGL Studios as “a mix between modern Southern/alt-country rock and classic rock edge with a modern punk twist."

The band heads into the night riding the momentum of “Higher Ground,” the title track from Global Ringo’s upcoming debut album, a record built on big guitars, deep grooves, Southern storytelling, and songs meant to be played loud.

Frontman Chris Stenglein handles guitar and vocals, drawing on his years with Vedado and Drive Thru Town. Matt Miller brings the driving bass and deep roots in Atlanta’s music scene, while multi-instrumentalist Jeff Cochran, whose credits stretch from Little Blue to The Paisley Garden Project, anchors the rhythm with style, muscle, and finesse.

And for this one, Global Ringo is bringing along a very special guest.

Atlanta guitar legend Barry Richman, who has shared stages with members of the Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton, Derek Trucks, and many others, joins Global Ringo for a unique night in the Music Room.

Pepper Davis is an Atlanta-based indie-country singer-songwriter known for blending authentic Southern storytelling with an energetic, full-band sound. He began writing songs and telling stories at 14, drawing inspiration from home, relationships, faith, late nights, and the changes that come with growing up.

In 2025, Davis released his debut album, North East Bound, a coming-of-age project centered on heartbreak, uncertainty, small-town roots, and his first year of college. He followed it in May 2026 with his sophomore album, Peace of Mind, a bigger and bolder collection that reflects his continued growth as a songwriter, performer, and producer.

Now backed by a six-piece live band, Pepper Davis is bringing his original music and high-energy performance across Georgia on the current Good Times Tour. With a rapidly growing audience and a live show built around connection, musicianship, and honest songwriting, Davis continues to establish himself as an emerging voice in Atlanta’s indie-country scene.
