Sometimes when two melodic journeys collide, something bigger than either one takes shape. That’s the story of Green Light Morning, a Cincinnati-based alternative pop rock band founded by lyricists and musicians Aaron Patrick (formerly of Oval Opus) and Aaron Bright (who also tours with Brian Fechino and the Risky Beavers, formerly the big creak).

Green Light Morning blends the storytelling of The Avett Brothers with the soaring melodies of Coldplay, all wrapped in a heartfelt dad rock vibe. They’ve performed on The Rock Boat (hand-picked through Soundcheck), Bunbury Music Festival, Dayton Downtown Revival, and Rock by the Sea, winning over audiences with shows that mix upbeat rhythms, sing-along hooks, and a genuine love of connection.

Beyond the stage, the band has been deeply involved in giving back. For over a decade they’ve partnered with organizations like Rock by the Sea to raise money for pediatric cancer research and supported Earth Angel Charities. Most recently, they successfully raised over $30,000 through fan support to record their upcoming full-length album that released April 2026.
