HBM XL takes over the Hollywood Theatre for one of our biggest nights of the year: PRIDE XL!
A celebration of queer joy, belonging, community, and dance floor magic!
On July 31, we’re turning this iconic Vancouver venue into a high-energy, heart-forward playground for our community! Expect a full and vibrant room, new and familiar faces, and the kind of shared moments that make a night feel meaningful long after it ends.
As always with HBM, music and atmosphere are curated with intention, moving across moods and moments to keep the dance floor alive from start to finish. DJ Why So Serious is on the decks, bringing an open-format set that blends pop, hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Latin, reggaeton, and dance-floor favourites.
Hosted by the incomparable Dust Cwaine (who will also be blessing us with live performance!) this edition brings extra sparkle, JOY, and fabulousness to the stage!
In partnership with Sidekick Brewery, we’ll be featuring their PRIDE release, Rhinestone Renata, available at the bar all night. A portion of proceeds from every can (at HBM and beyond) will support Unbound and Rainbow Refugee doing important work in our communities*
Whether you’re a longtime HBM regular or joining for the first time, this night is built with care, for community…expansive, welcoming, and unapologetically celebratory!
Bring your people, your full self, and whatever moves make you come alive!
*Unbound is a Coquitlam-based organization creating safer, affirming spaces and support networks for queer and trans youth. Rainbow Refugee, is a Vancouver-based group that supports people seeking refugee protection due to persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. Both organizations do vital work in sustaining safety, dignity, and belonging within and beyond our local community.
