Heartwood Soundstage, in partnership with The Listening Room, welcomes formative indie icons Ida for a rare performance.

For more than three decades, Ida has quietly built one of indie music’s most beloved catalogs, crafting songs filled with hushed harmonies, slow-burning beauty, and remarkable emotional precision. Emerging from the ’90s indie scene, the band carved out a sound entirely their own, moving effortlessly between folk, slowcore, chamber pop, and dreamlike indie rock.

Joining Ida for the evening is Pohgoh, the beloved Florida indie band whose heartfelt songwriting and melodic warmth have earned them a devoted following since emerging from Tampa’s underground scene in the 1990s. Across decades of music, reunions, and new chapters, Pohgoh has remained an important part of Florida’s independent music history.

Together, Ida and Pohgoh make for a special evening connecting generations of independent music, built around songs meant to be experienced slowly, closely, and together.
