Local indie pop band KYM and the Kick invites you to celebrate the release of their energetic freshman album "The Gift of Feeling." This ten-track album is the band's ode to feeling deeply in a culture that suppresses our feelings at every opportunity. Supported by Alonzo and Poison Ivy and the People, this night is for lovers of queer pop and art as resistance!

KYM and the Kick is a cheeky, queer indie pop band from the Twin Cities, MN. After releasing their EP ‘Not 4 U’ in 2020 under the band’s solo name, KYM and the Kick step into their new era with equally danceable indie pop tracks. KYM’s dreamy vocals and layered harmonies are well-complemented by their band's funky bass lines, dynamic drum fills, and 80s synth pop melodies.

Alonzo is 3 friends who like to have fun. Their sounds range from bossa nova, easy listening to disco to incidental television music. They enjoy being the wallpaper for any good-time event. From a beginner to an advanced listener, Alonzo has something for everyone.

Poison Ivy And The People is a five piece theatric al rock band based in Minneapolis, MN, and fronted by Ivy (aka Charleigh Wolf). Themes of mental illness, profound existentialism, big questions about the world, and social change give listeners an inside view into Ivy’s abstract inner monologue. Ivy’s extensive background in theatre lends itself to highly dramatic performances that captivate audiences and leave them thoroughly entertained.
