October is designated as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) to unite advocates, support survivors, and educate communities on ending relationship abuse.

About ETCC: "The East Texas Crisis Center is a safe place for survivors to turn when their world feels unsafe. We provide shelter, advocacy, and hope for those impacted by family violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and violent crime. We’re a community of advocates, volunteers, and supporters working together to break cycles of abuse and create a future where every East Texan can live free from fear."
