You’re invited to a night of electronic pop with Ladytron at The UC Theatre!

Ever since they first appeared in 1999 in Liverpool, England, Ladytron has combined primitive analogue electronics, glassy melodies, touches of dream pop, disco, and 1960s influences, and went on to conjure distinctly different moods on each album. The group features Helen Marnie, Mira Aroyo, and Daniel Hunt, with Reuben Wu. They’ve released seven albums, including the hook-laden simplicity of 604 (2001), to the darker feel of Witching Hour (2005), the meditative Gravity the Seducer (2011), and Time’s Arrow (2023).

Their music feels like driving through a neon-lit European city at 3:00 AM. It's danceable, but there is always a sense of mystery or "tech-noir" melancholy beneath the surface. You’ve caught them at a perfect time. After a bit of a quiet period, they just released their eighth studio album, Paradises, on March 20, 2026.
