LIGHTNIN' LUKE


Lightnin' Luke is a traveling folk singer, storyteller, and virtuoso violinist originally from Portland, Oregon, and currently based in Charleston, South Carolina. He is best known for his "soulful, passionate, and sincere" musical style that blends bluesy vocals with heartfelt lyrics and high-energy fiddle playing. : Luke maintains an active solo career, frequently performing on the street (busking) and in intimate venues. His solo music is often categorized as western gothic, noir folk, and country-blues. He is a pivotal member and fiddle player for the Bridge City Sinners, a band known for its "Appalachian death folk" sound. He also performs with the band Yes Ma'am.
