Mantagonist

Mantagonist is not an ordinary cover band. Fueled by angst not in short supply these days, these four women and a male drummer are on a mission to invoke the restless spirits of female rockers of the 90s and beyond. Risen from the musical ashes of DC’s Ménage À Garage, Emotion Witch, Reckless Tesla, and Erotic Thrillers, Mantagonist’s smoldering energy slow burns into a flaming hot fire.

Sligo Waterdogs

The Waterdogs formed in 2020 when, inspired by social media posts that Punk Rock cures Covid, four music-starved Takomans crawled out of their basements to jam on their favorite punk tunes by the local stream. Since corporate-controlled stadium rock was taking a well-deserved plague break, folks in the neighborhood began showing up at the jams and the Dogs evolved into a genuine band. Since then, the Waterdogs have kept on playing their unique mix of classic US and UK punk, proto-punk, and post-punk through heat, rain, and sub-zero temperatures. They’ve survived band drama, line-up changes, relationship turmoil, and police oppression. Like the Salamanders they are named after, the Waterdogs. Will. Not. Die!

Mac N'Toss

Mac N’ Toss is a DC-area girl band trio of 20-somethings mad about the world, sharing our rage through unapologetically feminist music for women, femme, and queer people. We would best describe our genre as alt-rock and indie meets riot grrrl. We recently released two live singles, Feminine Reverie and Rabid, available for streaming everywhere, and are recording our debut album! In the band’s and our fans’ experience, everything is a little more fun when Mac N’ Toss is involved.
