Wade's mom has had mobility problems for several years and had a hip replacement just last June. She's on the mend, but she's in urgent need of major home maintenance. She's an 81 year old retired high school teacher living on a fixed income all alone out in the country with her two cats. Her house has fallen into significant disrepair over the years and she needs some help getting things caught up.

Wade has been trying to make his own ends meet after taking six weeks of unpaid leave out of state to assist with his mom's recovery.
