*ATLANTA ROOM*

Parlour Magic is a synthpop project led by musician and media artist Luc Bokor-Smith (b. 1995, New York City). It exists in the murky void between a band and a solo project (think Tame Impala or Japanese Breakfast). Sonically, imagine if Arctic Monkeys decided to make a vintage-sounding synth record, or if Future Islands got really into Italian horror. The project has also been compared to M83, Neon Indian, and MGMT.

Parlour Magic’s third studio album, The Embassy, will be released on June 5th 2026. The Embassy is a portrait of disorientation and dissolution. Drifting through ferries, ports, trains, and remote broadcast dead zones, The Embassy speaks in the language of broken telephone lines and faint radio transmissions from somewhere in a distant future-past. It explores themes of missed connections and fractured communication. But those who listen closely will find that, underneath the desolation, there’s a shimmering optimism that one day, someone will answer the call.

Produced by Bailey Kislak, Luc Bokor-Smith, and Fab Dupont, The Embassy is a dramatic expansion of Parlour Magic’s sound. Armed with a full band behind them, Bokor-Smith, Kislak, and Dupont push boldly towards a guitar-driven sound inspired by the energy of the band’s live performances on the 2024-25 “Saturn Return” tour. Additional production comes from Luca Chesney, Florian Stepper, and Oren Levin with string arrangements by Kristine Kruta.

Foli For a Film is a female-fronted psychedelic indie/prog rock band that started in Bogotá, Colombia and is now based in Atlanta. Led by Megan Reátiga on vocals and bass, the band blends dreamy synths, melodic bass lines, guitar-driven arrangements, shifting rhythms, and energetic drums into a sound that feels cinematic, colorful, and sometimes a little chaotic.

The project began as a homegrown collaboration between Camilo Salazar and Megan Reátiga, eventually growing into a full live band with Camilo on guitar, synths, and production, Alex Sotka, from the United States on drums, and Theo Vilamitjana, from Argentina on synths. With backgrounds in jazz, classical music, visual art, production, and Latin American music scenes, Foli For a Film brings together different influences into a live show that moves between soft atmospheric moments and heavier psychedelic rock sections.

Their songs often blend Spanish and English lyrics, layered textures, and emotional builds, creating music that feels both nostalgic and otherworldly. The band is currently building its presence in the Atlanta music scene while staying connected to its Latin American roots, creating a live show that feels strange, heartfelt, immersive, and fully its own.
