Primitive Broadcast Service (PBS) is an experimental rock trio from Milwaukee with a reputation for noisy, politically-charged content and fun, high volume live shows. The band released their 3rd full length album, 'Monsters', June 4 on the Seismic Wave Entertainment label. This is their first Chicago show since the release of the new album.

Tracked at Electrical Audio in Chicago and Wreckage Industries in Milwaukee, 'Monsters' is a collection of "heavy, angular, dissonant pieces of music, written from the environment around them and routed through whatever field recordings happen to come within reach of a microphone" (IDIOTEQ.com). The working term for the PBS sound: urban skronk - a Midwest noise form of protest music.
