This event will consist of three half-hour rounds of speed dating in which you will meet 9 people for 3 minutes each. You will be provided cards with conversational prompts, but are welcome to spend the three minutes however you like. Around the room will be tables set up with puzzles and coloring books for more casual interactions. Everyone will have an envelope with their name and a polaroid (taken at entry) hung on a wall at The Fruit, and if you enjoy your interaction with someone and want to interact more you may place your name, phone number, love notes, compliments, small drawings, etc on a piece of paper in their envelope at any time over the course of the event.

We will not be categorizing people by gender, age, or desired relationship structure (although we will ask you to mark whether you are looking for monogamy on your nametag), but rather encourage you to think of this as an opportunity to expand your social circle with other queers who are looking for dates. The people you meet today might be the love of your life, but more realistically they might be the person that invites you to a party where you meet the love of your life, or who introduces you to a new hobby where you find your new best friend. The goal is connection that leads to eroticism, but we encourage you to keep your mind open about the path.

The entry cost is sliding scale $5-$15- to keep this volunteer-run event accessible. This event will be capped at 60 people.
