Ainae is a Washington, D.C.–based R&B/Pop artist whose Ethiopian, Black American, and Caribbean heritage shapes her cinematic, soul-forward sound. A Season 20 contestant on The Voice (Team Kelly Clarkson), she’s known for powerhouse vocals, sharp storytelling, and a live show that turns rooms into a moment.

Her career highlights include winning the American Songwriter competition, which led to her being selected as an official SXSW 2025 artist. Her breakout single “Weekend Lover” featuring Saint Ciré has earned strong listener traction and radio support. She’s opened for Kyle Dion and James Vickery, and shared the stage with Patti LaBelle at the AFRAM Festival.
