ATLANTA ROOM

Shedonist is a Nashville based hard hitting grungey blues rock band with a 90's alternative flair, punctuated by earworm hooks and powerhouse vocals.

For Persian-American members Jasmin Toubi and Rose Badiei-Savage, rock music isn't just a genre. It's an attitude, a lifestyle, and the essence of rebellion. Singing and sharing music with the world represent the ultimate form of resistance. "If we lived in Iran, we would be in jail for doing music, for being who we are."

With the rock and blues based guitar wizardry of Ray Walsh and human metronome Keever White, the band brings hard hitting riffs and fills backing their fierce female front.

The band's debut LP Young, Dumb & Stupid was released in 2021 and was quickly recognized as music for rock fans of all ages with its nods to classic rock and modern incorporation of its sub-genres. Their cover of "Where Have All The Good Times Gone" by The Kinks is featured on the compilation album Starstruck featuring hit-makers Wheatus of Teenage Dirtbag. The band is expected to release 4 new songs on a self-titled EP in 2026.

Atlanta-based band GRUDGESTEP can best be described as "Outlaw Grungecore." Their sound is notable for a plethora of heavy guitar riffs weaving through rhythms with driving drums and intricate bass lines, all topped by powerhouse vocals and melancholy storytelling.

"There's a lot going on in our sound, but we keep the essence of the project cohesive," explains Kellie (vocalist/guitarist). "We have broad influences between the three of us, and you can definitely tell that there's an old school feel to what we're writing, but by combining all of these styles and adding in that vulnerable aggression provided by the lyrics, we're looking to create something a little different for modern ears."

At the end of the day, the message is clear: Be real in your life. Be raw with your story. Fuck shit up and make it count.

Originating as a solo project by singer/songwriter Ashton May, cash honey transformed into the vibrant fusion of old-school rock-n-roll and femme-fronted rock it is today in the summer of 2024.

The lineup came together when Ashton joined up with drummer Airis Broughton (formerly bandmates in Atlanta band, Suspect Raptor) and bassist Shannon McNairy, alongside powerhouse vocalist Sophie Simpson and guitarist Schuyler Heflin (both formerly of The Smoke and The Static). This dynamic group of five queer women brings a unique edge to their sound, blending classic rock influences with a contemporary flair and pop-influenced melodies that is soulful, sensual, and seductive.

cash honey is proud to be part of the rising wave of queer music reshaping the industry. Their upcoming debut album promises to deliver a fresh and electrifying take on rock and roll that is both nostalgic and fiercely modern. Tracks like "Say You Love Me" perfectly showcase the catchy guitar riffs, stunning vocals, tight harmonies, groovy rhythm, and raw, garage rock sensibility that has become the band's calling card. Stay tuned for more!
